Republicans Compare BP Oil Spill To Katrina

In another attempt to disparage the Obama administration, Republicans have compared the government response to the BP oil spill the Bush's response to Hurricane Katrina.

Although the comparison is ludicrous, media outlets continue to report on the spill like it is a national crises. They banner their news casts with "Day 44" like the hostage crises in Iran. They show pictures of floating oil and soaked birds as if the end of the world was fast approaching. Then they cry out, "where is the President?"

It's all bullshit!

First, there is no comparison between HURRICANE Katrina and the BP Oil spill. Over 1500 citizens lost their lives in Katrina, only 11 at the BP oil rig. Thousands of people lost their homes and businesses from all walks of life in Katrina. So far a few fishermen and shrimpers have reported lost income, but, they still have their lives and homes.

Katrina was a natural disaster. The National Weather Service gave plenty of warning. The state and city and federal governments failed to evacuate the old, poor and sick. Left prisoners and hospital patients to drown. Sent the National guard to shoot survivors trying to find food and water. Failed to provide the money and resources to rebuild.

The BP oil spill is entirely a man made disaster. The government had no advance warning. Has no oil drilling or capping equipment in it's budget. Has no "Department of Oil" that deals with oil spills. Is overspent on it's budget while BP makes billions in profit each quarter.

A few oily birds and unemployed shrimpers is the same as a thousand drowned niggers I guess.

The Republicans have repeatedly blamed Obama for the entire mess.

The President has accepted responsibility for the mess, while sending the Justice Department down to determine if criminal charges are forthcoming for BP. Meanwhile Republicans like Bobby Jindal, who refused federal bailout money, are now screaming for federal money like a crack addicts. The same teabaggers who wanted the federal government out private business are now crying for federal help.

Hypocrites.

From the beginning President Obama should have told BP that someones ass would be thrown in jail for every day the oil leaked. They would sit their asses in jail until the leak was stopped and the oil cleaned up.

That is the only way Obama can assume responsibility for this ongoing mess. The government does not posses the technical expertise or equipment to stop the leak.

They do have plenty of jails.

Obama Meets With Native American Leaders-Offers $1.4 Billion To Settle Lawsuit

President Obama met with representatives of 386 nations on Thursday, fulfilling a campaign promise to discuss Native issues. Accompanied by Secretary of the Interior Ken Salazar and several Cabinet members, the President acknowledged government misdeeds marked by violence broken promises, and treaty violations. He also said that the government failed to properly consult native American leaders and communities leading to current conditions of unemployment up to 80% on reservations, 25% living in poverty, and 10% of homes without electricity or running water. "You were told your lands, your religion, your cultures, and your languages were not yours to keep," said Obama.

These are the same issues surfaced by Russell Means, Dennis Banks, and Clyde Bellacourt over thirty years ago. For over 400 years, no government official has publicly stated the obvious and apologized for it.

The President also took questions and comments from the elders gathered and directed federal agencies to develop recommendations within 90 days on how best to improve tribal participation in key government policy decisions.

On Monday, the Justice Department announced a settlement offer of a lawsuit filed by Native Americans in 1996. Thousands of Native Americans would receive at least $1,000 each, or $1.4 Billion to settle the suit over mismanagement of Native American revenue.

The lawsuit had accused the government of failing to account for money held in Individual Indian Money Accounts, which are supposed to represent the value of property individual Native Americans, held and managed by government trustee.

The government would also agree to establish a $2 billion program to buy small fractions of land to help sellers obtain value from ancestral property, which would then be held by tribal governments.

While this proposal does not cover the decades of genocide and treaty violations, it is at least a start. The government made billions of dollars over the years leasing out Native American land to ranchers, miners, oil barons, and the military. No Native American was ever paid a nickle for the use of land that was owned communally. The government can't figure out who owns the land because the concept of land ownership was foreign to Native people. They did not own the land, the land owned them!

Elouise Cobell (Blackfeet) said that "the settlement was not fair, but, in the future we may be treated more fairly." She said that the defendants were just worn down from thirteen years of legal battles.

It is ironic that the same things that the American Indian Movement demanded thirty years ago at Wounded Knee, , honoring treaty rights, a full accounting of Native American funds, are now being won through the courts. True Freedom Fighters like Russell Means, Dennis Banks, Clyde Bellacourt, Ward Churchill, and many others will never get the recognition they deserve for laying their lives on the line time and time again.

Sure, $1,000 per Native American is nothing in the grand scheme of things,but, it is more than has ever been offered before. After Obama, the door will close on Native American relations for another hundred years. Now is the time to make your voices heard if the Black Hills are ever to be returned, the BIA abolished, and sovereignty restored to Native people.

Why The Salahis Are Not In Jail

This blatant security breach at the White House proves one thing with certainty, a White man in a Tuxedo with a blond on his arm can go damn near anywhere.

What the hell were the Secret Service Agents thinking? They let in two people who were not on the guest list, who had not been background checked, and gave them direct access to the most powerful people on the planet. With a name like Salahi? It could just as well have been Bin Laden!

The Secret Service is now trying to place the blame on the colored girl, the Press Secretary. The administration is shielding her, and rightfully so, as she had no part in this debacle. They now point to the 92 past security breaches that have occurred in the past twenty years to deflect blame. If terrorists or nut jobs wanted to see the latest advances in homeland security they need only attend a White House dinner.

U.S. Dissaproves Of Expansion Of Jewish Settlements

I hope my Native brothers and sisters will forgive me, but, I could not let this pass in a season of so-called Thanksgiving.

How tepid a response can you give? Gee guys,we sure wish you wouldn't expand settlements into east Jerusalem. You know that doesn't make things better. But we appreciate you thinking about slowing down.

In the meantime, land is being stolen by the city block. Palestinians' homes are being demolished and men, women, and children thrown into the street, jailed or killed if they protest. Used as human shields if anyone shoots back. Bomb their factories, schools and hospitals.

How could Saddam, Noriega, or Mullah Omar be any worse than Benjamin Netanyahu (I think it's pronounced what-a-yahoo). We decry genocide in Darfur and Kosovo, but sit silently as it openly takes place in Jerusalem. The Israelis are daring someone to take action, yet no country will. When the Palestinians fire crude weapons in self defense, the Israelis open up with tanks, helicopters, and white phosphorus.

This whole story being played out in the West Bank and Gaza Strip is the exact same story as the Black Hills here in America. Slowly take by force that which can not be won by treaty. Kill anyone who protests by calling them a "militant" (see Crazy Horse, Sitting Bull, etc.) Steal the land.

No Western or Eastern power will protest or support the Palestinian cause, they are not white people. Arab states have been placated with treaties, money, and oil contracts. They all talk a great game, but, any that support the Palestinian cause with finances or arms are attacked literally and figuratively (see Iran, Libya, Iraq.)

Brother Jamil Al-Amin is looking more and more like a prophet every day. African Americans in power means nothing. They simply carry out the wishes of the system in place 400 years before they got there. To change the system is to be viewed as a militant, or God forbid, a liberal.

The time for tepid responses has long past. The Goldstone Report and these latest actions should create a public outcry all over the world.

President Obama Signs Hate Crimes Legislation Into Law

President Obama signed hate crimes legislation adding sexual preference and disability to the list.

While very few attacks on the disabled occur, attacks on Homosexuals are prevalent. Huey Newton was one of the first to recognize the struggle for Gay rights as akin to the struggle for the rights of all people. You don't have to be Gay to march in solidarity with them.

Thanks President Obama for fulfilling your promise to sign the legislation, now continue the fight by pushing for a repeal of Don't Ask Don't Tell and adding sexual preference to all civil rights legislation.

Obama Wins The Nobel Peace Prize-Conservative Heads Explode

President Barack Obama won the prestigious Nobel Peace Prize and world recognition as an agent for peace in the world.

Instead of praising the President, political pundits all over America have howled and screamed that he didn't deserve it. That he is a wartime President that has done nothing to advance the cause of peace. Yet, no pundit has indicated who they thought was more deserving. The conservatives cheered when America lost out on the Olympic bib for Chicago and booed when Obama won the Nobel Peace Prize.

He deserves the Nobel Peace Prize. The prize is for individuals who advance the cause of peace while surrounded by hatred. The same pundits who argue that Obama didn't deserve the award are the same assholes who said Dr. King didn't deserve it. He was also surrounded by hatred. He was called names, beaten in the streets, and jailed. Yet, he maintained that peaceful protest was the only real way to effect change.

Obama has enacted many policies that have advanced the cause of peace. He opened a new dialog with North Korea resulting in new talks on nuclear weapons and the release of two American journalists. He ended the missile defense shield in Europe which caused great apprehension in Russia and Eastern Europe. He started a new dialogue with the Muslim world based on mutual respect. He is drawing down the troops in Iraq and letting the Iraqis decide their own future. He is pushing for healthcare for all Americans, which will directly benefit the poor. He even met with a racist cop and his victim to try to heal the racial divide in this country which has existed for 400 years. He has done all these things while confronted by hatred and racism. Not from foreign leaders, but, from his own people. Any other African-American would have slapped the shit out of Joe Wilson, but not Barack Obama. For that reason alone, give him the award.

Pundits fail to mention any of his accomplishments while denigrating him for getting the worldwide recognition he deserves. They howl that the only reason he got the award was that he is not George Bush. That giving him the award was a repudiation of Bush policies more than anything he personally has accomplished. they point to the fact that President Obama and his staff were just as surprised as the rest of the nation. They immediatelty wanted to know what he was going to do with the 1.4 million dollar award, then sneered when he said he would donate it to charity. What a crock.

There has never been a Nobel Prize winner of any kind who said "I deserve this award and thanks for recognizing that I am better than the rest of those losers." Never. No one asked the other American Nobel Prize winners what they planned to do with the award money, only Obama. No one asks if the other Nobel prize winners will "earn" their award, only Obama.

Still more hatred for a man who has only tried to advance the cause of peace, dialog, and understanding. Still think he is undeserving?

Eight Americans Killed In Afghanistan-Obama's Delema

With the killing of eight more U.S. troops in Afghanistan, President Obama now has hard choices to make about the direction of the war effort.

General Stanley McChrystal has requested 40,000 additional troops to conduct the war,something the President must consider long and hard before sending.

First he must consider the source of the request. General McChrystal, although chosen by Obama to lead the war effort in Afghanistan, is firmly in the pocket of the Republican party. They have been speculating for months that additional troops would be requested, although the 20,000 additional troops Obama authorized have yet to be deployed. General McChrystal also headed up the Pat Tillman cover-up for the Bush administration. Bestowing a Silver Star on a soldier shot to death by friendly fire and fabricating a heroic lie to placate the family and ensure re-election for Bush/Cheney.

Second, he should ask the General what he will accomplish with 40,000 additional troops? Are these troops required to maintain the status quo or will they drive every single Taliban fighter out of Afghanistan? If it is to maintain the status quo surely additional troops will be needed, even if the General gets the 40,000 he asked for. No one wants an indefininate stalemate.

Third, who are we fighting and what are we fighting for? Are we fighting the Taliban, Al-Qeda or both? Although the Taliban sheltered Bin-laden, they had no idea he would attack America. They also had no means to capture him and bring him to justice, even if they wanted to. President Obama will soon learn that an idea is hard to defeat. The Taliban get no wages, health benefits, or education for fighting. They believe in an ideology which encompasses their religion. Our paid soldiers are fighting for revenge only. How much revenge is enough.

Fourth, where the hell is the international community? The rest of the allies are going home or scaling back. Why not ask Great Britian, France, and the other NATO powers for the additional troops? Why are the Afghans not stepping up to defend their own country?

Fifth, how will we know when we have won? Bin Laden will probably never be captured. It has been nine years. Billions of dollars have been spent yet he continues to produce videos mocking us. Mullah Omar is still fighting. What has been accomplished?

Lastly, who is running Afghanistan? Hamid Karzai is a U.S. puppet who will probably be assassinated by his bodyguards at some point. He is not safe outside Kabul and he utilized the Zimbabwe and Iran election models to secure power. You know the model. Stage an election, stuff the ballots, throw away votes for the opposition, declare victory. If the opposition complains, shoot them, beat them, then offer them a Prime Minister or Vice President position.

Obama should call General McChrystal on the carpet. He should tell him that if he gets the additional troops and does not effectively wipe the Taliban off the face of the earth he will not only be fired but executed.

Grayson Describes GOP Health Plan-"Die Quickly"

Hooray for Alan Grayson for finally telling it like it is.

The truth is, the Republicans have no plan. The didn't for eight years under Reagan and twelve years under both Bushes. No heathcare bill has ever come out of a Republican controlled House or Senate. They have proven time and time again to be firmly in the pockets of the insurance companies. Obama must realize that he will not get a single Republican vote, regardless of what is in the final bill.

Yellow Dog Democrats Kill Public Option

When push came to shove, the democrats shot themselves in the foot. Three "yellow dog" Democrats voted to kill the public healthcare option, including Max Baccus the Finance Committee Chairman and head dog.

As a business professional for over 25 years I know how crucial the public option is.

One of the companies I worked for offered three major HMO plans, Aetna, Blue Cross, and United Healthcare. Aetna offered premiums about one-third less than the other two plans. Most employees chose Aetna. The following year, the other two plans were not offered as they could not compete in the market. Aetna's rates were increased by one-third.

The following year Aetna increased it's rates by 200%. That's right 200%! the average employee received a 3.5% increase in wages.

Everyone freaked out and began to drop all coverage during the open enrollment period. The state had a public option called "Florida Kids" that covered children of individuals living at or near the poverty level. Most employees were without coverage for themselves while their kids were covered by the state. These were the only options available.

Without a public option we will forever be at the mercy of the insurance companies who are in the business for profit only. The well being of the patient is secondary to profit, always.

Forcing every citizen to be covered by a private insurer only gives the insurance companies 30 million new customers. The companies usually collude to fix rates so that all are similar. The rates are increased every year, not based on competition, but pre-determined in dark rooms. Just like increases in home insurance after a hurricane and car insurance after an accident, health insurance will increase after a claim. claims will continue to be bogged down in bureaucracy as people die. Patients may no longer choose their own doctors as doctors change which insurance they will accept based on payments and the amount of paperwork required.

There can be no reform without a public option. Anything else is a Roman orgy for the insurance companies. Doctors, insurance companies, and pharmaceutical companies will get RICH on the the suffering of the sick.

The Yellow Dogs must be voted out of office. They are clearly in the pockets of the insurance companies as exhibited by their vote. Where the hell is the Majority Whip? Time to use it to whip some ass~!

Facebook Runs Poll-"Should Obama Be Killed?"

Any remaining doubts that the enemies of Obama are driven by racism and hate, were eliminated when a poll published on Facebook asked if Obama should be killed. Although the Secret Service will probably identify the culprit, as Michael Corleone said in Godfather III " our true enemy has yet to reveal himself."

The stage is being set for an attempt on the President's life. An atmosphere of hate is building in the White community resulting in disruptions at town hall meetings, idiots showing up at political events with guns, and yelling at the President during an address to Congress.

What next?

The hatred for Regan, Kennedy, and Ford was far less vehement. Yet, all three had attempts made on their lives, one successful. The hatred for Obama is being whipped into a fever pitch by the right wing. Most of the protestors have no idea why they are mad. They cannot possibly be upset that he is trying to bring healthcare to over 30 million uninsured. The bailout of the banks and AIG helped prevent the economy from collapsing, no problem there. Bringing the troops home from Iraq is a big positive. Why hate the man?

The only difference is his race. Jimmy Carter had the guts to say it, yet no one supported his view. Black leaders and pundits were paraded on television to repudiate him, and all did (with the notable exception of Roland Martin.)

Instead of setting up low level wannabe Al-Qaeda idiots the F.B.I should become actively involved in investigating potential threats to the President. There are far more right wing terrosists than there are Islamic terrorists in this country.

The asshole who published this poll should be publicly identified and jailed. Everyone who voted "yes" in the poll should be questioned, placed under surveliance, or jailed. Treat these assholes like drug dealers. Both spread hatred and death.

What Obama Must Do About Iran

US Intelligence revealed a new Iranian nuclear plant under construction near Qom and Iran conducted further short range missle tests in defiance of Western powers. Now the Right wingers are demanding that Obama do something about the rogue regime. But, what to do?

Why must WE do anything? Obama must ask these fundamental questions before raising the stakes with a country we should have no quarrel.

First. Why do we care if Iran has a nuclear plant. Even if they built a bomb, the United States Of America remains the only country that has ever used an atomic bomb. India has a bomb, so Pakistan felt compeled to have one to preserve the balance of power. Israel has nuclear weapons, yet no country demands inspections or complains that they have nuclear power. If Iran is developing nuclear weapons they could only be used against Israel with the short range missles they have developed. They would be used to maintain a balance of power in the region as Israel now has the ability to annihilate any Islamic country without retribution.

Second. Why do we hate the Iranians? Sure they kept our countrymen hostage for a year 25 years ago, but nobody got killed. If Jimmy Carter hadn't been such a dumbass and let the Shah in the country, none of this ever would have happened. I say let bygones be bygones. The Shah is dead, we are sorry for overthrowing your government and putting him in in the first place. Let's move on.

Third. Why do we give a fuck about Israel. We have no national interests there. They are hated in the region because of their policies with regard to the Palestianians, and they have no oil. Why not let them fend for themselves. The missles in Iran could never reach us. They must only be aimed at Israel. Obama should ask why he gives a shit. Let Israel defend itself.

Fourth. Who died and made us King of the Planet. Only we get to decide who gets what kind of power? Once the nuclear Genie was let out, he was free to roam the world. Now we can't get him back in.

Just a few of the questions Obama should ask before imposing sanctions or letting Israel bomb the nuclear plants and starting WWIII.

Carter Stands Firm

Gotta love Jimmy Earl. He will not back down in the face of criticism over his belief that a "fringe" element of the teabaggers are racist. The teabagger movement refuses to identify and drive out this fringe element. Instead they are embraced.

White backlash is nothing new. When slaves escaped the south for freedom in the north, fugitive slave acts were passed, returning slaves and freedmen alike to bondage in the south. When slaves were freed and given the right to vote, Jim Crow and segregation laws, poll taxes, and Grandfather Clauses were enacted to appease the racists and disenfranchise the black citizens. When Civil Rights legislation was passed in 1964, all major African American leaders were killed or imprisoned by 1968 and a right wing racist elected President. Now that an African American has been elected President, the racists have taken to the streets. Their teabagger protest in Washington on 9/12 resembled a Klan rally. The only thing missing were the white robes and burning cross.

Carter remembers these times. He does not wish to repeat the failings of the pass. We MUST support him as the racists attempt to discredit him. Where in the fuck are Al Sharpton and Jesse Jackson? They should be standing shoulder to shoulder with Jimmy Carter right now. It is becoming increasingly obvious that they are self-serving, ego maniacal sellouts only interested in issues that will enhance their own status.

Carter is right. We must repudiate the racists whereever we see them. Expose them for who they are by asking serious questions about their motives. Shouting them down when they issue racists statements. Kick their asses.

Carter Calls Teabaggers Racist

Finally someone other than a Black man has called the teabaggers racist. The press can't state the obvious for fear of losing viewers. Sharpton and Jackson can't do it because they are percieved as always shouting racism. The President can't do it because the conservatives would claim he is whining. Jimmy Earl has nothing to lose. He is widely respected, supremely qualified, and just the right person to call it like he sees it. The media doesn't know what to do now without starting the race debate. No white person wants to debate race relations. It might lead to reparations somehow. Can't have that.

The teabaggers can't throw out the racists. They make up two thirds of the group. If one is asked to leave they all will. Uneducated morons are almost always racist. Old white people are almost always racist. Thats most of the group.

Most whites want to believe that racism no longer exists. Hell, we have a Black President, one sits on the Supreme Court, a few in the Senate. That makes us all equal. Sure we lock up more Hispanics and African Americans per capita than whites, but, they commit more crimes. Sure the unemployment rate is double for minoritities, but, they just don't want to work. Sure, a Black man was dragged to death, he needed a ride! Pay no attention to those witch doctor signs, catcalls, and claims that the President is "stealing" the country. Don't all niggers steal?

Thank you Jimmy Earl! At least one white man has the courage to tell it like it is. Don't expect the racists to leave the teabaggers. We must shame them in the streets when we see them. Call them racists. Kick their asses. Let them know that we see them and will not forget. Then maybe this country can engage in an honest discussion of the race question and make amends.

Obama Calls Kanye "Jackass"

Jackass is being generous. Moron is more like it. I knew it wouldn't take long to compare Kanye to Joe Wilson. The White folks think wer'e even now. One Jackass is Black, the other White. See, we all can be jackasses.

Why the press reported this is obvious. It is not only an attempt to make Kanye look bad, as if he could look any worse, and make the President appear stupid if at all possible. Why report something said off the record unless it is meant to embarass someone.

Joe Wilson is a racist Jackass. Kanye is a stupid jackass. Major difference. Now the press will make a big deal out of the fact that the President called another Black man a jackass. Sometimes you have to call a a spade a spade.

Obama Portrayed As Witch Doctor

Only a White person would ask if the portrayal of President Obama as a witch doctor was racist. Whites have no concept of racism. They are the purveyors of racism, therefore, they are unable to recognize it in themselves. They are quick to yell racism when they feel wronged in any way by a person of color. They figure Blacks will take any opportunity to exact revenge for 400 years of slavery, rape, murder, theft, and general hatred. Blacks secretly hate the White man therefore Blacks are racists. Stupid.

Whites are inherently afraid to take an honest look at the history of the American republic. They glamorize every part of history from the glorious landing of the pilgrims, to the courageous fight at the Little Big Horn. They conviently leave out the parts where they steal land, kidnap people, and murder everyone who protests. They always ask whether an issue is racist, even when obvious, in an attempt to avoid the truth. They will always end the story saying "some think this is racist" without offering an opinion or stating the fact.

Only by honestly facing up to the truth and providing an indept accounting of racist policies that affected millions can the country finally come to grips with the question of race. Providing reparations to the African and Native people of this land would go a long way toward solving the problem once and for all.

Joe Wilson-Asshole Of The Month

Although it's early and the GOP could trot out an even bigger moron, I think it's safe to say that Congressman Joe Wilson is hands down the Asshole Of The Month. He shouted "You Lie" to the President when he stated that illegal immigrants would not be covered under the new health care initiatives being debated in the House and Senate.

Let's be frank. He only shouted "you lie" because he couldn't shout "Nigger". If he was concerned about Presidents' lies, where was he when Bush was lying about weapons of mass destruction, the link between Iraq and Al Queda, the cost of the wars, illegal wiretapping, and outing a CIA operative? He is obviously not concerned with lies, only niggers.

President Obama is experiencing what most Black men in middle or upper management in white owned companies experience every day. Whites are extremely skeptical of anything a Black authority figure has to say. They attempt to double verify any fact you state and discredit any idea if at all possible. They attempt to marginalize the Black manager by whispering accusations behind their back. Things like lazy, lacks focus, can't be trusted, has his own agenda. Things Obama is hearing now like Socialist, liar, immigrant. They attempt to create an environment where the Black man cannot be successful because he is unable to gain allies in support of his cause. No one wants to be associated with a liar or Socialist.

Joe Wilson adds his name to a growing list of South Carolina morons, idiots and assholes. There was Rusty DePass, GOP activist who likened Michelle Obama to an escaped gorilla. Then there was Mark Sanford who lied about his whereabouts so he could visit his whore in Argentina. Now Joe Wilson, who was FORCED to apologize by his own party. This has to be a first in South Carolina for a white man to apologize to a Black man. It must be killing him, that's why he can't do it again.

I think General Sherman should be dug up to re-invade South Carolina. Let him tear down the Confederate flag over the capitol, piss on the grave of Strom Thurmond, and bring up Joe Wilson before a firing squad.

Tea Baggers Rally for Racism

The racists are now disguising themselves as patriots. These are the idiots Obama is trying to appease. People who don't like him because he is Black, pure and simple.

Notice, no Blacks or Hispanics in the crowd. Only mad rednecks. People so uneducated they don't know the meaning of the words socialism, facism, or marxism. They do know a nigger when they see one, so label him anything except that. Half of the idiots in the crowd probably don't even have health care, or would certainly lose it if a catastrophic illness were to occur. The only real reason for the protest is racism. If more media sources would simply state the fact, the debate would move along. Ask the next idiot teabagger they interview if he/she has health insurance. If they are a veteran or over 65 kindly remind them that they have government run healthcare now and that they are being assholes by trying to prevent others from having it.

Obama is now finding out what Blacks have known all along. He has to be twice as good as any President that has ever served just to get half the respect. He must quit trying to appease the racists. He can't turn completely white no matter what. Start kicking ass and taking names. He has absoultely nothing to lose.

Parents Against Obama Speaking To Kids

Now it seems the racists don't want the President of the United States to address their eight year olds. Better to keep them home and continue to indoctrinate them with ignorance, racism, and hatred. The reasons are so absurd that they defy belief. I have never heard parents threaten to keep their kids home rather than meet the President, even when Nixon, Reagan, Bush, and Ford were in office. Dan Quale was allowed to address the kids even though he couldn't spell potato.

These idiots should just openly admit to being racists so Obama can quit trying to reach out to them. As the saying goes, not all Republicans are racists, but all racists are Republican. Most of the idiots crying socialism have no idea what socialism is. Most crying racism, haven't a clue. Most are uneducated, scared, stupid morons who should be marginalized instead of embraced. Placating stupid people only makes you stupid.

This is proof positive that reaching out to the Republicans will only hurt the arms of the Democrats. It dilutes their agenda and compromises their very principles. With a clear majority in both houses and the Executive office they should be stomping the shit out of the elephants. When Reagan had a majority he rammed bill after bill down the throats of the asses without compromise. He is now idolized , even by some Democrats. The only way to win is to close ranks, kick ass, and take names. I guess a party headed by a woman,a gay man, and ex-doctor/lunatic is incapable of coming together, even when it matters most.

Frank Talk At Last On Healthcare

Leave it to Barney Frank to tell it like it is. He has no fear of conservatives because they never voted for him in the first place. He has no fear of liberals because he lives his life in the open. Thank God for Barney Frank. I guess we need more gay leaders in the Senate to stand up to the morons, idiots, and racists that make up the Republican party.

It's interesting that the same "blue dog" democrats that rode Obama's coattails promising healthcare reform are now turning tail and siding with the republicans. I guess blood is thicker than water, even if the President is the water. The insurance companies must be funneling millions to their campaigns.

More Democrats need to stand up and close ranks behind Obama. Liberal voters must shout down the lunatics, or at least take the microphone. If they ask a stupid question, ask them where they got the information. If they quote something that is not in the bill, ask for a reference point. Don't just stand there with your thumb in your ass. Win the debate!

How Obama Can Win The Healthcare Debate

With thousands lining up for free healthcare in Los Angeles, the second largest city in the nation, why the hell are we having a debate? Most of the people lining up had insurance and still can't get adequate care. There are 47 million Americans with no healthcare. What is the debate about?

In a nutshell, MONEY! Tons of it.

The Republicans see this issue as a rallying cry. If Obama is defeated on this issue they can turn it into his Waterloo. A defeat on healthcare could result in momentum for the 2010 and 2012 elections. They could be back on top by claiming to be fiscally conservative. They protected Grandma from the "Death Panels" and saved the country from more big government. Hooray, Hooray, we saved the day. Keep that insurance lobby money coming!

The insurance companies don't want a public option as the country will find out they they have been overpaying for inadequate care for decades. The insurance companies would be exposed for the blood suckers they really are and soon go out of business. Goodbye huge bonuses. Goodbye yachts. Goodbye death panels.

Obama has proved that he is no Richard Nixon or Dick Cheney when it comes to killer instinct. This argument should not even be taking place. Heres why.

First. Obama should have turned Eric Holder loose on the Bush administration for war crimes regarding Abu Ghraib and Guantanamo Bay. The Republicans would be so busy covering each others asses they could care less about healthcare. They may even use healthcare as a bargaining chip i.e. "don't prosecute us and we'll let you have anything you want.

Second. Obama should be pushing the hell out of the public option. Have his finance office come up with some figures for potential premiums under the public option so people can begin to compare coverages and prices. When people see that they could be potentially paying half the premiums for better coverage, argument over. No matter where the money comes from.

Third. Obama should emphasize that the same Republicans screaming about the cost said nothing about YOUR costs going up every year. Sometimes the rate increases were as much as 200% in some areas where competition is limited. He should also develop a chart with the cost of the Iraq war, which no Republican complained about, and the cost of healthcare. Then ask which we would rather have. We got nothing for the Iraq war, not even cheaper oil. At least we would get treatment for the Swine Flu.

Fourth. Obama must tell the next person that asks that there are no Death Panels but that he will put one together for the next person who asks that dumbass question.

Fifth. Keep showing the video of people lined up for free medical care from a group used to providing it for third world countries. Then ask if we still have the best system in the world.
