Obama Wins The Nobel Peace Prize-Conservative Heads Explode

President Barack Obama won the prestigious Nobel Peace Prize and world recognition as an agent for peace in the world.

Instead of praising the President, political pundits all over America have howled and screamed that he didn't deserve it. That he is a wartime President that has done nothing to advance the cause of peace. Yet, no pundit has indicated who they thought was more deserving. The conservatives cheered when America lost out on the Olympic bib for Chicago and booed when Obama won the Nobel Peace Prize.

He deserves the Nobel Peace Prize. The prize is for individuals who advance the cause of peace while surrounded by hatred. The same pundits who argue that Obama didn't deserve the award are the same assholes who said Dr. King didn't deserve it. He was also surrounded by hatred. He was called names, beaten in the streets, and jailed. Yet, he maintained that peaceful protest was the only real way to effect change.

Obama has enacted many policies that have advanced the cause of peace. He opened a new dialog with North Korea resulting in new talks on nuclear weapons and the release of two American journalists. He ended the missile defense shield in Europe which caused great apprehension in Russia and Eastern Europe. He started a new dialogue with the Muslim world based on mutual respect. He is drawing down the troops in Iraq and letting the Iraqis decide their own future. He is pushing for healthcare for all Americans, which will directly benefit the poor. He even met with a racist cop and his victim to try to heal the racial divide in this country which has existed for 400 years. He has done all these things while confronted by hatred and racism. Not from foreign leaders, but, from his own people. Any other African-American would have slapped the shit out of Joe Wilson, but not Barack Obama. For that reason alone, give him the award.

Pundits fail to mention any of his accomplishments while denigrating him for getting the worldwide recognition he deserves. They howl that the only reason he got the award was that he is not George Bush. That giving him the award was a repudiation of Bush policies more than anything he personally has accomplished. they point to the fact that President Obama and his staff were just as surprised as the rest of the nation. They immediatelty wanted to know what he was going to do with the 1.4 million dollar award, then sneered when he said he would donate it to charity. What a crock.

There has never been a Nobel Prize winner of any kind who said "I deserve this award and thanks for recognizing that I am better than the rest of those losers." Never. No one asked the other American Nobel Prize winners what they planned to do with the award money, only Obama. No one asks if the other Nobel prize winners will "earn" their award, only Obama.

Still more hatred for a man who has only tried to advance the cause of peace, dialog, and understanding. Still think he is undeserving?

Jackson Blackface Tribute Flops

Thank You Harry Connick Jr. After a group of Australian doctors performed a Michael Jackson "tribute" in blackface, Connick correctly showed his outrage and educated an insensitive Australian audience.

Australians have no moral compass. They attempted to eradicate the entire population of Aborigones through straght up genocide. The Black population of Australia has been reduced to a handful of oppressed souls unable to fight the everyday racism occuring all around them. They barely bother to protest as their oppresors no longer care. Every now and then they trot out an Aborigone as a symbol of racial equality (remember the Olympics) and claim racism no longer exists. This video proves that is not the case.

Thanks Harry. I vcan see why your family name is revered in New Orleans and around the world. Your moral compass is strong.

Janeane Garofalo Calls Teabaggers Racist

OK. I have a new sweetheart. It is Janeane Garofalo. I have always been attracted to women with brains and who can appreciate humor.

Risking her career and the ostracism of closet racists everywhere, she boldly called the teabaggers racist, joining Jimmy Carter as the only white person brave enough to do so. She has stuck by her comments and repeated them on Bill Maher's show on Friday.

She also called out Michael Steele, who is in the Uncle Tom Hall Of Fame. She indicated that Uncle Steele suffers from Stockholm Syndrome, currying favor with his oppresors so that one day he might be free.

Black people are afraid to make these statements for fear of being accused of playing the race card. They stand silently by as brave soles in the white community risk everything to state the truth and call out the racists among them. Our leaders are being exposed as cowards in the face of obvious racism, much like the slaves who tried to discourage others from taking the underground railroad. These people will never be free.

U.N. Delays Vote On Goldstone Report-Abbas Under Siege

The U.N. delayed a crucial vote on the Goldstone report on Israeli and Hamas war crimes for six months after pressure from the U.S. and Israel and the tacit approval of the Palestinian Authority.

The outcry in the occupied territories was immediate.

The Israeli invasion into the Gaza Strip resulted in over 1400 Palestinian deaths, with the majority of the casualties being women and children. The Israeli Army reported 10 soldiers killed and 3 Israeli civilians.

Approving the vote delay implies that Abbas is a total lackey to Washington and Israel. Failing to expose Israeli war crimes, and have the nations of the world recognize them as war criminals, severely weakens the cause of freedom and justice for the Palestinian people. Without justice there can be no peace.

The Palestinian people have been subjected to endless injustices by Israel since the states founding in 1948. Palestinians have had their land seized, their leaders isolated and assassinated, their farms and houses bulldozed, and women and children murdered.

Israel has not been sanctioned, embargoed, or even threatened for it's heinous actions by the U.N. or Western powers.

Why?

Saddam Husein, Manuel Noriega, and Hugo Chavez have been hanged, jailed, and ostracized for far less. Our nation is a nation of hypocrites. Justice depends on skin color, ethnic background, and money. The Palestinians are the Native Americans of the middle east. Their culture, religion, and heritage mean nothing to the western powers who are still fighting the crusades.

Delaying the vote was the final straw for the Palestinian people. The protests are just the beginning. Already riots are taking place in Jerusalem as Israel seized the third holiest shrine in Islam so that Jewish pilgrims could pray at a piece of a wall. Abbas will be targeted next. Although Palestinians are rarely assassinated by Palestinians, Abbas just became a prime target. Turncoats and collaborators generally get what they deserve.

Goldstone Defends Israeli War Crimes Report

Richard Goldstone was called upon to defend his report to the U.N on war crimes committed by Israel and Hamas during their conflict last year.

Fareed Zakaria, the token Muslim from CNN, tried hard to equate the actions of Hamas with the heinous crimes Israel committed.

While Hamas fired highly inaccurate rockets towards Israel in hopes of hitting a substantial target, Israel responded with phosphorous shell, human shields, and shelling schools, hospitals, farms, and flour factories. Hardly a fair comparison.

No video evidence. No interviews with Palestinians. No body counts. Just a sad attempt to make both parties equally responsible.

Any doubts that the media is controlled by Israeli sympathizers were shot to hell. Even Richard Goldstone, a Jew, has demanded action against Israel, something our nation has refused to do.

Thanks for your efforts Mr. Goldstone. In keeping with the old saying "tell the truth, then leave immediately."

Eight Americans Killed In Afghanistan-Obama's Delema

With the killing of eight more U.S. troops in Afghanistan, President Obama now has hard choices to make about the direction of the war effort.

General Stanley McChrystal has requested 40,000 additional troops to conduct the war,something the President must consider long and hard before sending.

First he must consider the source of the request. General McChrystal, although chosen by Obama to lead the war effort in Afghanistan, is firmly in the pocket of the Republican party. They have been speculating for months that additional troops would be requested, although the 20,000 additional troops Obama authorized have yet to be deployed. General McChrystal also headed up the Pat Tillman cover-up for the Bush administration. Bestowing a Silver Star on a soldier shot to death by friendly fire and fabricating a heroic lie to placate the family and ensure re-election for Bush/Cheney.

Second, he should ask the General what he will accomplish with 40,000 additional troops? Are these troops required to maintain the status quo or will they drive every single Taliban fighter out of Afghanistan? If it is to maintain the status quo surely additional troops will be needed, even if the General gets the 40,000 he asked for. No one wants an indefininate stalemate.

Third, who are we fighting and what are we fighting for? Are we fighting the Taliban, Al-Qeda or both? Although the Taliban sheltered Bin-laden, they had no idea he would attack America. They also had no means to capture him and bring him to justice, even if they wanted to. President Obama will soon learn that an idea is hard to defeat. The Taliban get no wages, health benefits, or education for fighting. They believe in an ideology which encompasses their religion. Our paid soldiers are fighting for revenge only. How much revenge is enough.

Fourth, where the hell is the international community? The rest of the allies are going home or scaling back. Why not ask Great Britian, France, and the other NATO powers for the additional troops? Why are the Afghans not stepping up to defend their own country?

Fifth, how will we know when we have won? Bin Laden will probably never be captured. It has been nine years. Billions of dollars have been spent yet he continues to produce videos mocking us. Mullah Omar is still fighting. What has been accomplished?

Lastly, who is running Afghanistan? Hamid Karzai is a U.S. puppet who will probably be assassinated by his bodyguards at some point. He is not safe outside Kabul and he utilized the Zimbabwe and Iran election models to secure power. You know the model. Stage an election, stuff the ballots, throw away votes for the opposition, declare victory. If the opposition complains, shoot them, beat them, then offer them a Prime Minister or Vice President position.

Obama should call General McChrystal on the carpet. He should tell him that if he gets the additional troops and does not effectively wipe the Taliban off the face of the earth he will not only be fired but executed.

Grayson Describes GOP Health Plan-"Die Quickly"

Hooray for Alan Grayson for finally telling it like it is.

The truth is, the Republicans have no plan. The didn't for eight years under Reagan and twelve years under both Bushes. No heathcare bill has ever come out of a Republican controlled House or Senate. They have proven time and time again to be firmly in the pockets of the insurance companies. Obama must realize that he will not get a single Republican vote, regardless of what is in the final bill.
