There are some individuals in our society who set their race back at every opportunity by agreeing with everything the white man says. By agreeing, this individual contributes greatly to the demise of a people culture, values, and opportunity to advance in society. Every race has Uncle Toms. Some are Black Republicans who help abolish affirmative action and voting rights laws. Some are women who join white men in attacking abortion rights, equal pay, and discrimination laws. Some are Native people who sign treaties and agreements to sell land that does not belong to them. Uncle Toms come in all forms, but, there is one thing they have in common. They are all assholes.
I have nominated three worthy individuals for the Uncle Tom Hall Of Fame. They are:
1). Ward Connerly- Activist against Affirmative Action. Although supposedly a Black man, he has be abandoned by his race completely. His name is never to be uttered in any gatherings of two or more people of color.
2). Clarence Thomas- How can a person be a token hire and an Uncle Tom? Hardly seems possible. Even looks like a house slave. Never invite him to speaking engagements in your community. You will be embarrassed.
3) Michael Steele- Not only became head of the most racist organization since the KKK, but, publicly kissed the ass of Rush Limbaugh, an avowed racist. This man gives Uncle Tom new meaning.

Michael Steele Sells Out Completely
Michael Steele has lost all credibiity as a person of color by joining the Rush Limburger and Newt Grinch Republicans labeling Sonia Sotomayor as a Racist. The idea is so absurd most pundits are too stunned to comment on this ridiculous assertion. I am not.
Far too often miniorities given position of "power" have had to think and act like white men to maintain their positions. If Sonia Sotomayor is guilty of anything, it's that. She has maintained moderate positions in most of her rulings because she knew people were observing for any signs of bias on her part toward Hispanics, African Americans and the Disabled. Just as the first African American and Hispanic Police Officers and government officials were harder on their own race, just so the white establishment and the minority community would all understand that there would be no special favors just because we share the same ethnic group. Ms. Sotomayor is being attacked for her view that as a Latina gowing up under difficult circumstances, she might make better decisions than a white man.
The fact is, white men have considered their race and background in Supreme Court decisions throughout the nations history. Dred Scott would be happy to tell you how he was returned to slavery because all the white men on the jury felt they were superior. How Jim Crow laws, Lynchings, and segregation laws were upheld for almost a century by white judges.
Michael Steele calling this highly esteemed jurist a Racist disqualifies him from being referred to as African American for the rest of his life. I guess he really does report to a big fat, drug addicted, moron!

Indigenous Uprising
An uprising by Indigenous people in Peru has resulted in the suspension of a controversial Forestry and Wildlife law. The law was part of numerous degrees that President Alan Garcia passed through special powers awarded by Congress last year with the goal of having Peru meet rules set in a free trade agreement with the U.S. The decrees made it easier for oil, mining and logging companies to operate on indigenous lands.
On Friday, the National Police attacked a roadblock near the city of Bagua. About 2,500 Indigenous people had blocked the main road to protest the government actions to sell the land to which the people belong. The resulting clash left approximately 24 Police Officers killed and 9 Amazonian natives killed. More than 50 people were injured. Look for the Government to arrive with pen and treaty where bullets and bombs have failed.

Cracker Goes Crazy in the Capital!
Just when you thought white people were finally collectively "getting it", something happens to remind us that there are probably more domestic terrorists than ther are foreign. James W. von Brunn, an avowed white supremacist, neo-nazi, and well known asshole, walked into the U.S Holocaust Memorial Museum on Wednesday and shot the Security Guard, Stephen Tyrone Johns, before being critically wounded himself. What the ****?
This story is wrong on so many levels it's hard to know where to start. First, how does an 88 year old racist ex-convict have access to a rifle that he can casually walk into a building with in broad daylight? Did this guy have a parole officer, like Moses, to keep tabs on him?
What does he have against the Jews? As a Christian, doesn't he worship a Jew every Sunday?
Why aren't hate groups like the KKK and Neo-Skinheads banned altogether. Free speech should not extend to hate groups. these groups operate freely in countries like Germany, Austria, the U.S. and Australia. They are pretty much outlawed enerywhere else. How much was the guard making? Not enough.

Billions for Banks, Nothing for Negroes
The feds easily passed legislation giving a trillion dollars to bail out banks, insurance companies, and car companies. The same people who gave out bad loans, cooked their books, and built crappy cars. What the hell!
Imagine if the government had instead distributed that money to every African American and Native American in this nation to make up for past injustices. There are approximately 42 million African and Native people currently living in the United States. The trillion dollar payout would result in every man, woman, and child recieving approximately $23,000. Although not full reparations, a nice start.
The economy would be fixed overnight because we own no car factories, banks, or major insurance companies. All of the money would be returned to the white people who own mortage companies, build homes and cars, and distribute drugs and alcohol. Everybody benefits, no one loses. We could also use this money to start businesses, set up retirement accounts, or even move to Africa and start over.
Racism is why this will never happen. This country thinks nothing of giving 1 trillion dollars to wall street and Iraqis, but nothing to the peoples who were robbed of their heritage and enslaved. Billions for Banks, Nothing for Negroes and Natives.
